First, I want to introduce myself. This is only the
second time for me to attempt my hand at blogging. The first time I tried
blogging was six or seven years ago. I had purchased everything I needed
(domain name, website, the whole nine yards), and I spent many hours painstakingly
working on the blog and website until I finally had it looking like I wanted it
to look.
Unfortunately, though, not long after I had gotten
it off the ground and had attracted a handful of followers who enjoyed reading
my articles, a mean-spirited person began stalking my blog, and that forced me to choose to
shut down the blog to avoid additional trouble (I was new to the blogging world
and I didn’t know how to block unwanted people from accessing my blog).
Needless to say all my hard work and money invested in the website and blog was
lost.
So because of that disappointing experience, I have
decided to try my hand at blogging again – but this time I am using this nonpaid
website with my penname – “Slim Pickings ”. My family are all deceased, leaving only me
surviving. So now it’s just my wife and me.
